Job summary

Cruse Scotland Limited is seeking a dynamic manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the East Area, including our teams in Fife, Dundee, Angus, Perth & Kinross and related groups. The post requires strong interpersonal and organisational skills to provide volunteer managerial support, often from a distance, and to respond to enquiries from bereaved clients.

The role involves establishing relationships with volunteers, staff, funders and partner organisations, and travel across Scotland

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Experience in providing volunteer managerial support (often from a distance).
• Ability to respond effectively to a wide range of enquiries including bereaved people.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with Cruse Scotland volunteers, staff, funders and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of Cruse Scotland East Area, including teams in Fife, Dundee, Angus and Perth & Kinross and the Tayside and Fife Walk & Talk Groups and Cruse Scotland Alternative Pathways support.
• Travel to service bases within the East Area and to other locations in Scotland for meetings and training as required.
• Maintain effective communication and support for volunteers and staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and organisational outcomes.
