Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare invites applications for a Regional Live-in Team Leader role covering East Anglia. This home-based position involves visiting clients in their own homes, building care plans and supervising live-in carers across the region.

The role requires a minimum of two years’ care experience, a Level 3 Diploma or willingness to upgrade, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. Regular travel and on-call duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a care setting with vulnerable adults, including senior roles.
• Experience in care needs assessments and writing care plans.
• Experience of spot checks, competency assessments and supervisions.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Knowledge of CQC fundamental standards and best practices for home care.
• IT skills including experience of a digital care management system (Birdie or similar).
• Ability to work independently from home and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to build trust with clients and families.
• Empathy and commitment to person-centred care.
• Full UK driving licence, own vehicle, and willingness to travel across East Anglia.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours and participate in on-call rota.
• Commitment to equal opportunities and health and safety practices.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new live-in care enquiries and support families through decisions.
• Carry out care needs and risk assessments including medication and moving & handling.
• Develop clear, person-centred care plans for live-in carers.
• Match live-in carers to clients based on needs and preferences.
• Support start of new placements with introductions and handovers.
• Perform regular spot checks, competency assessments and welfare checks.
• Review care plans, daily notes and MAR charts for accuracy.
• Identify incidents, safeguarding concerns and changes in client needs.
• Support carer breaks and handovers to maintain continuity of care.
• Build relationships with clients, families, carers and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate with branch teams to progress referrals and placements.
• Manage your diary and travel efficiently across the region.
• Maintain records and contribute to service improvements.
• Participate in the live-in on-call rota.
