Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting an Earned Recognition Examiner in Birmingham. You will assess applications, audit reports and KPI data to ensure operator compliance and inform follow-up actions.

You will work with operators, auditors, IT suppliers and DVSA colleagues to provide guidance, investigate issues and determine appropriate actions to maintain the scheme's integrity, with opportunities to shape its development.

Responsibilities

• Analyse KPI and other relevant data and information to assess operator compliance and make evidence-based decisions and recommendations on appropriate follow-up action.
• Conduct desk-based assessments (DBAs), gathering and evaluating information to identify compliance issues and agree appropriate actions with operators
• Assess new applications, audit reports, prohibitions and compliance history to support effective decision making within the Earned Recognition scheme.
• Investigate prohibitions, notices and other compliance issues, gathering evidence from internal and external sources to determine appropriate action
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to assess cases and reach informed decisions on appropriate further action
• Provide advice and guidance to operators, auditors, IT suppliers and colleagues, while developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent DVSA and promote the Earned Recognition scheme positively at meetings, conferences, workshops and industry events.
