Job summary

Lift Ryde, part of Lift Schools, invites applications for an exciting Trainee Physics Teacher on a salaried route. This school-based ITT programme lets you earn while you learn toward PGCE and QTS, with full-time 1-year duration and Summer School 2–13 August 2027.

You will gain practical classroom experience under mentors, receive weekly feedback, and join a nationwide network of trainees across the Lift Schools group.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 2:2 or above (Physics/ STEM preferred)
• GCSEs: English and Maths at grade 4/C or above
• Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the training year
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience as you train to teach Physics
• Receive weekly feedback from mentors and tailored career support
• Participate in targeted weekly training and network with trainees across Lift Schools
• Graduate with PGCE and QTS qualifications

Education
