Lift Greensward is offering a salaried Initial Teacher Training programme to train as a Physics teacher. Trainees earn while learning and work toward a PGCE and QTS, with strong mentor support and school-based practice throughout the year.

The programme includes a two-week Summer School, personalised coaching, and weekly training modules, plus a nationwide network with Ark Teacher Training and Lift Schools. Eligibility requires a physics-related degree and UK work rights.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with a 2:2 classification or above; Physics, STEM, or a related field preferred.
• GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above.
• Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the training year.
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience in a real school setting.
• Receive mentoring from experienced teachers and a dedicated in-school coach.
• Participate in weekly training sessions as part of the training year.
