Job summary

Lift Schools is recruiting for a Trainee Physics Teacher through an Apprenticeship route. The role combines practical classroom experience with university study to earn a PGCE and QTS while you work in partnership with Ark Teacher Training.

Expect two weeks of Summer School and ongoing mentoring, with a 1-year, full-time programme designed to develop confident teachers who progress through in-school coaching and weekly training sessions across our network.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2:2 or above by start of programme; Physics preferred.
• GCSE English and Maths grade 4/C or above.
• Right to work in the UK for the training year.
• Must not currently hold QTS.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience through school-based training.
• Receive weekly feedback from a dedicated tutor and in-school mentor.
• Attend targeted weekly training sessions and ongoing career support.
• Graduate with PGCE and QTS upon successful completion.
