Job summary

Realise Training is offering an Early Years Educator Apprenticeship at Toad Hall Nursery in Hitchin. This 14-month program provides hands-on nursery experience while working towards the Level 3 EY Educator standard, including on-the-job training and 20% off-the-job learning. You will join a supportive team committed to child development and safeguarding.

The role is full-time, based in Hitchin (SG5 1RT). On completion, there may be opportunities for progression to a full-time Early Years

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English (4/C) or willingness to complete functional skills while apprenticeship.
• Interest in working with children and developing under EYFS.
• Strong work ethic and respectful, supportive interaction with staff and children.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and evaluate activities for children from birth to five years.
• Provide care within a key person structure and support qualified staff.
• Maintain stimulating environments with appropriate displays and resources.
