Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant with Level 2 qualification to work in a two-form entry primary school near Warlingham, Surrey. You will support in the Nursery, assisting with phonics, play-based learning, and developing social and emotional skills.

Hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm, full-time. Pay £93–£100 per day depending on experience; paediatric first aid and Level 3 EYFS qualifications are required, with a dedicated consultant providing ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 qualification MINIMUM.
• Paediatric first aid trained is required.
• Level 3 EYFS qualifications preferred for progression.

Responsibilities

• Support learning through play and early phonics activities.
• Assist with early communication and social development.
• Provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
• Support in Nursery across the Early Years department.

Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)

Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE)

Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)

Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development

Level 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy - Birth to 7
