Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support an Early Years class in a welcoming Primary School in Moseley. This supply role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain experience across local primary schools, with a focus on phonics and early play-based learning.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, Level 2/3 Childcare or Early Years, and a Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare / Early Years (CACHE/NVQ/EYE).
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential).
• Experience in Early Years (Nursery or Reception).

Responsibilities

• A valid Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential)
• Experience working within Early Years (Nursery or Reception)
• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

Requirements:

• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through TeacherActive)
• Ability to provide 2x recent professional references
