Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an Early Years Teaching Assistant for flexible supply work in a Moseley primary school. This role offers nursery-style learning within a structured setting, on a supply basis.

The ideal candidate will support an Early Years class, assist with phonics and early development, and provide 1:1 or small group support, working with the class teacher to maintain daily routines. DBS and references are required.

Qualifications

• Patient, nurturing and proactive approach.
• Experience supporting Early Years learners (Nursery/Reception).
• DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support children within an Early Years classroom.
• Assist with phonics, play-based learning, and early development.
• Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where required.
• Work closely with the class teacher to support daily routines.
