Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting an experienced EYFS Teacher for a warm primary school in Aintree, Sefton. This full-time role is ASAP to at least February 2027, with competitive pay within MPS1–MPS6 and pay to scale after 12 weeks.

You will teach in a Reception or Nursery class, deliver play-based, child-centred lessons in line with the Early Years Framework, and support the progress and inclusion of all pupils.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• At least one year of recent EYFS teaching experience (essential).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Nurturing, proactive and adaptable teaching style.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or ability to obtain).
• Professional references covering the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Support the individual needs of all pupils to ensure progress and inclusion.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and the SENDCo to provide tailored support.

• Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate EYFS records.

Position: EYFS Teacher (Full-time)

Location: Aintree, Sefton

Start Date: ASAP - February 2027

Salary: £32916 - £45352 per annum (MPS1 - MPS6) - Pay to scale after 12 weeks (dependent on experience)

Aspire People are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Aintree, Sefton, who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team on a full-time ASAP until at least February 2027.

Important: This position is open to experienced teachers only (MPS1 - MPS6). Candidates must have at least one year of recent EYFS teaching experience.

The Role:
