Job summary

Bright Horizons’ First Direct Stourton nursery in Leeds is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities that support each child’s development toward key milestones, in a safe, nurturing environment.

The role requires a Level 2+ Early Years qualification, strong EYFS understanding, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to build trusting partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection is essential.
• Ability to develop trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child.
• Foster a safe environment that supports expression, curiosity and learning.
