Job summary

A well-established Primary School in Newham is seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for full-time, term-time only work starting in September 2025. The ideal candidate will support children’s development, create engaging activities, and foster an inclusive environment. A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and previous experience are required along with a passion for nurturing children. Competitive salary based on experience.

Are you a dedicated and qualified Early Years Practitioner with an NVQ Level 3 qualification? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and welcoming 3-form entry Primary School and Children's Centre that is committed to delivering a high-quality and nurturing early years environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's development across the EYFS framework.
  • Create engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Observe and record children's progress to inform planning.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, including those with SEN or EAL

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Year Education (or equivalent) - this is
  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Passionate, reliable, and nurturing approach
