Job summary

Bright Horizons Worthing Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover, Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm, in Worthing. The role focuses on planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to each child, fostering development and a love of learning.

We require a full Level 2/3 Early Years qualification, EYFS knowledge, safeguarding awareness, and strong collaboration with colleagues and parents to support children's growth in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development towards milestones.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and foster a lifelong love of learning.
• Support learning during lunch cover, Mon-Fri 10am-2pm at Worthing site.
