Job summary

Bright Horizons Haddenham Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover in Aylesbury. The role requires planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to each child, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment to foster a lifelong love of learning.

Applicants should hold a Level 2/3 EYFS qualification with strong safeguarding knowledge and a passion for inclusive learning. This is a permanent, on-site position with benefits and DBS checks involved.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities during lunch cover.
• Maintain a safe environment supporting children's expression and curiosity.
• Build trust with colleagues and parents/carers.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed during all interactions.
