Job summary

Bright Horizons Farnham Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Lunch Cover Early Years Practitioner. The role involves planning, creating, and reflecting on engaging activities tailored to each child, encouraging development and a love of learning in a safe, supportive setting.

You will work 15 hours per week, 11am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, in Farnham, with a 50% childcare discount for the first child and other benefits. Level 3 EYFS qualification and safeguarding awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child to support development towards milestones.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and foster a lifelong love of learning.
