Job summary

Bright Horizons Basildon Day Nursery & Preschool is hiring a part-time Early Years Practitioner for lunch cover in Basildon, Essex. The role runs 20 hours weekly, Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 3:30pm, year-round, and requires a full Level 3+ Early Years qualification.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each of your key children to support development and milestones.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves, engage their minds and foster a lifelong love of learning.
• Develop trust and partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
