Job summary

TEAM Inc. is opening a brand-new Marylebone nursery in November 2026 and seeks a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to deliver high-quality care and education within the EYFS framework, including Montessori-inspired and outdoor learning experiences.

You will observe, assess and support children's development through play and child-led activities while safeguarding and forming strong relationships with families. A collaborative environment will help the nursery grow from day one.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and how to support learning and development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for safe childcare.
• Experience observing, assessing and planning age-appropriate activities.
• Interest in Montessori-inspired education, Forest School or child-led activities is advantageous.

Your responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner

• Deliver high-quality care and education, creating a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive.
• Plan and support engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, incorporating Montessori-inspired and outdoor learning experiences.
• Observe, assess and record children's development, adapting activities to their individual needs and interests.
• Encourage independence, communication, confidence and social development through play and exploration.
• Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues, sharing progress and supporting children's wellbeing.
• Maintain safeguarding, hygiene and safety standards while helping establish the nursery's routines and learning environment.

What we're looking for in an Early Years Practitioner

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and how to support children's learning and development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and the requirements for maintaining a safe childcare environment.
• Experience supporting children's development through observations, assessments and age-appropriate activities.
• An interest in Montessori-inspired education, Forest School learning or child-led activities would be an advantage.
