Job summary

Marylebone Village Nursery in central Marylebone, London, is seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our founding team and help shape a new boutique nursery. You will provide high-quality EYFS childcare, plan engaging activities, support children's learning and wellbeing, and contribute to Montessori-inspired learning with Forest School experiences.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Marylebone Village Nursery is a newly established, independent boutique nursery situated in the heart of Marylebone, London.

With a capacity of just 29 children, we are creating a nurturing, inspiring and personalised learning environment where children can develop confidence, curiosity and independence.

We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our founding team and help shape our nursery from the very beginning.

About the Role

• Providing high-quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing.
• Encouraging independence through Montessori-inspired learning.
• Supporting outdoor learning and Forest School experiences.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
• Completing observations, assessments and developmental records.
• Contributing creative ideas to support our nursery's continued development.

What We're Looking For

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential).
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
• A genuine passion for children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A warm, caring, proactive and enthusiastic approach.
• An interest in Montessori education and Forest School learning (desirable).
