Job summary

TEAM in London’s Marylebone is opening a brand-new nursery in November 2026, seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to help shape the learning environment from day one. You’ll join a team from the start and contribute ideas to create a warm, nurturing setting that blends EYFS with Montessori-inspired learning.

Deliver high-quality care and education under EYFS, support outdoor and child-led activities, and observe development to adapt practice.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and maintaining a safe childcare environment.
• Experience observing and assessing children's development.
• Interest in Montessori-inspired education, Forest School or child-led activities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in a safe, stimulating environment.
• Plan engaging activities in line with EYFS, including Montessori-inspired and outdoor learning.
• Observe and record children's development, adapting activities to needs and interests.
• Encourage independence, communication, confidence and social development through play.
• Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues, sharing progress and supporting wellbeing.
• Maintain safeguarding, hygiene and safety standards while establishing routines.

You'll be joining a team from the very beginning, helping establish a warm, nurturing environment that combines the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework with Montessori-inspired learning, Forest School experiences and engaging enrichment activities. What we're looking for in an Early Years Practitioner

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and how to support children's learning and development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and the requirements for maintaining a safe childcare environment.
• Experience supporting children's development through observations, assessments and age-appropriate activities.
• An interest in Montessori-inspired education, Forest School learning or child-led activities would be an advantage.
