Job summary

Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Watford is seeking an Early Years Practitioner. You will plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child, fostering a safe, encouraging space for exploration and a lifelong love of learning.

You will support development toward milestones, apply safeguarding knowledge, and work with colleagues and parents to create strong partnerships. The role is based at the Watford site with a care-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• As an Early Years Practitioner, plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities for key children.
• Provide a safe environment that enables expression, exploration and love of learning.
• Support development towards milestones and maintain safeguarding throughout daily practice.
