Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Watford (WD18 7HR) is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, create and reflect on engaging activities for each child, supporting development toward milestones in a safe, nurturing setting.

The role requires a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, a passion for inclusive learning, and solid EYFS knowledge. Benefits include childcare discounts, enhanced parental leave, and pension, with wellbeing support.

Salary – £14.41-£14.98 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Watford, WD18 7HR

Hours - Monday, Thursday and Friday (24 Hrs Per Week)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our The Park Day Nursery & Preschool!The nursery is situated in Watford in a beautiful converted Victorian house. The 63-place setting has four rooms across three floors. It is very local to the Watford town centre and has great transport links- the Watford metropolitan station is very close by, and Watford Junction is just a 10 minute walk

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification

• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
