Job summary

Bright Horizons Wembley Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities that support each child’s development. You will foster a safe, inclusive environment where children can freely express themselves and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Role requires Level 2/3 Early Years qualifications, strong EYFS knowledge, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with families and colleagues.

• Ability to plan, create and reflect on engaging early years activities.
• Ability to build trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Position Details

Nursery – Bright Horizons Wembley Day Nursery

Salary: £29,972.80 – £31,158.40 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, permanent

Location: Wembley, HA9 7HH

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 2 or 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers
