Job summary

Bright Horizons Shoreham-by-Sea Day Nursery & Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities for your key children. You will foster a safe environment that supports exploration, expression and a lifelong love of learning in line with EYFS.

The role requires a full Level 3 or above Early Years qualification, a strong safeguarding ethos, and the ability to build trust with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to key children.
• Maintain a safe environment where children can express themselves and develop a love of learning.
• Support development toward key milestones through child-centred activities.
