Job summary

Bright Horizons Fair Oak Day Nursery and Pre School in Fair Oak, Hampshire, is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, deliver and reflect on engaging activities, supporting children’s development toward EYFS milestones in a safe, inclusive setting.

We welcome applicants with a full Level 2 or above Early Years qualification, safeguarding knowledge, and a passion for creating fun, learning-rich environments.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers.
• Inclusive learning environments and play-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward EYFS milestones.
• Create a safe environment that encourages children to express themselves and fosters a love of learning.
• Develop trust and strong partnerships with parents and carers to support each child.
• Adhere to safeguarding and safer recruitment practices including DBS checks.
