Job summary

Bright Horizons in Colchester is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child, supporting development towards key milestones in a safe, inclusive learning environment.

You will hold a Level 3+ Early Years qualification, demonstrate EYFS knowledge, safeguarding practice, and the ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/ carers.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward milestones.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
