Job summary

My Shooting Stars Nurseries Ltd in Wolverhampton is seeking an Early Years Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join our expanding team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, child‑led learning in line with the EYFS and building secure relationships as a Key Person.

You’ll work full time (40 hours weekly) at £14.10 per hour with options for part‑time, enjoy benefits such as 50% childcare discount, generous leave, funded training, and a supportive progression path within our growing nursery

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience in nursery or Early Years preferred but not essential for newly qualified applicants.
• Solid understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.

Responsibilities

• Act as Key Person, building secure relationships with children.
• Plan and deliver child-led learning in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment fostering development.
• Support individual needs including SEND and inclusive practice.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as a Key Person, building secure and nurturing relationships with children
• Planning and delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences in line with the EYFS
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
• Supporting children's individual needs, including SEND and inclusive practice
• Building positive partnerships with parents and carers
• Maintaining high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
• Contributing to continuous improvement and the ongoing development of the nursery

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting (newly qualified applicants are welcome to apply)
• Good understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
• A positive, caring, and reliable team player
• Genuine enthusiasm for helping children learn, develop, and succeed
