Job summary
Shooting Stars Nurseries in Bromsgrove is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will help deliver high-quality early years education and care, supporting children to learn, grow and feel safe and valued.
This role offers full-time hours (40 per week) with a flexible approach to part-time patterns and excellent development opportunities in a caring, supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
- Experience working in a nursery, preschool or childcare setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS.
Responsibilities
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play-based experiences.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities reflecting children's interests.
- Observe, assess and contribute to children's learning journeys.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Create an inclusive, welcoming learning environment.
- Support emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding childcare and education.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident and inspired to explore the world around them.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help deliver engaging learning experiences, support children's individual development and build positive relationships with families, ensuring every child receives the very best start in life.
- Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through play-based experiences
- Planning and delivering engaging activities that reflect children's interests and developmental needs
