Shooting Stars Hinckley Nursery is seeking a caring Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly team. You will support individual care routines and development, plan activities, and observe progress under EYFS guidelines.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 2 considered) and have nursery experience. We value wellbeing, professional growth, and strong partnerships with families.

Qualifications

• Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 2 may be considered).

£14.10 per hour | Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Part-time applications may also be considered

Monday to Friday | Between 7:30am and 6:00pm
Open all year round | Closed on Bank Holidays

What You'll Be Doing

As a Nursery Practitioner you'll play a key role in supporting children's individual care routines, development and wellbeing through meaningful interactions and responsive care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a key person for a group of children
• Building secure attachments and supporting children's emotional wellbeing
• Providing high-quality care, including feeding, changing, sleeping and personal care routines
• Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
• Observing, assessing and recording children's progress in line with the EYFS
• Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Supporting children's communication, physical development and early social skills
• Working closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity of care and learning
• Following nursery policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional care and education

About You
