Job summary

Hedgehog Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Early Years Nursery Practitioners for a new children's day nursery and preschool in Hemel Hempstead. The role offers ongoing staff investment, training, quarterly supervisions, annual appraisals and a clear career path with growth and stability.

We offer flexible hours (4 or 5 days) within 7:30–18:00, all year round, and value individuals passionate about developing young minds with EYFS knowledge and relevant qualifications.

Job description

Early Years Nursery Practitioner.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic staff at NEW children's day nursery and preschool in Hemel Hempstead.

We will continuously invest in our staff to ensure they receive ongoing support, training, quarterly supervisions, annual appraisals and offer a career path with genuine long-term growth and stability.

Hours:

Working 4 or 5 days per week, we are open between 7.30-6pm, all year round.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a real passion for developing young minds, who as well as bringing their own experiences to the new nursery, are eager to develop their knowledge base with continued learning.

We are looking for a full-time senior nursery practitioner or deputy room leader must hold a L3+ in childcare, and one full - time Nursery practitioner L2+.

Duties include;

• Assisting the Room Leader and Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare.
• Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children needs.
• Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
• Ensuring a safe, secure, and caring environment for the well-being of the children.

The ideal candidate will.

• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
• Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS)
• Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
• Be qualified at NNEB/NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in childcare.
• Be able to work well in a team
