VD Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Practitioner/Early Years Practitioner for a family-run nursery in North West London. The role is permanent and full-time, offering 40 hours per week (49 weeks a year) and a salary of £25,500–£27,000 per annum. You will support planning and activities in line with EYFS guidelines and Ofsted expectations.

You will join a warm, home-like setting with a dedicated team focusing on high-quality care and education for 48 children.

Qualificações

• Level 2/3 in Childcare and Education or higher.
• A recent First Aid qualification is preferred.
• A firm understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Experience and knowledge of Safeguarding Practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality care and activities for the children in a secure, safe and stimulating environment.
• Lead by example, supporting and mentoring less experienced team members.
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and nursery guidelines.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, encouraging parental involvement in the nursery.
• Attend parents' meetings and open days.
• Help maintain the safety and security of all children, employees and visitors to the Nursery.
• Ensure ratios are adhered to at all times.

We are looking for a passionate and experiencedLevel 3/2 Early Years Practitioner -to join their dynamic & excellent management team and fun atmosphere in North West London.

The main duties expected of a Nursery Practitioner is to assist in the planning, organising and co-coordinating a programme of activities within the room, in accordance with the practice guidelines outlined by EYFS and Ofsted.

Your Responsibilities As An Early Years Practitioner

• Provide high quality care and activities for the children and to recognise both individual and group requirements in a secure, safe and stimulating environment.
• To lead by example, supporting and mentoring less experienced team members
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and any other appropriate guidance for young children in accordance with nursery policy and guidelines.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, recognising that parents are their children's first educators, and encourage parental involvement in the nursery.
• Assist and attend parents' meetings and open days.
• Help Maintain the safety and security of all children, employees and visitors to the Nursery.
• Help carry out regular ass/essments to ensure all Nursery Health and Safety procedures are followed.
• To ensure that ratios are adhered to at all times

Qualifications And Skills Required For The Nursery Practitioner
