Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Hemel Hempstead to provide a safe, nurturing environment for young children. Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualifications are welcomed, with a focus on supporting learning through play and daily routines.

You will work Monday to Friday, 4 or 5 days per week, with DBS requirements either met via Update Service or applied for on hire. Salary is £14–£17 per hour, depending on qualification and experience.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will work alongside the nursery team to support children's development through play, activities and positive interactions.

DBS Requirement

Applicants must either:

• Hold a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or
• Be willing to apply for a new DBS check. If a new DBS is required, the cost can be reimbursed after 20 days of successful employment, subject to the applicable terms.
