Hampshire County Council is seeking an Early Years Neurodivergent Service Support Worker to assist pre-school children with neurodivergent profiles and SEMH needs. You will work with families and practitioners to promote inclusive practices and enable participation in learning.

Join a specialist Inclusion Team, delivering tailored activities, access to services and safeguarding within a hybrid working model across Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Health, Education or Social Care qualification at NVQ Level 3 (or working towards one).
• Experience with pre-school children and families, including SEND and neurodivergent needs.
• Understanding of child development and inclusive practice.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a range of professionals.
• Commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and families.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied caseload.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist advice and model effective strategies for children with neurodivergent needs.
• Work directly with children, families and practitioners to develop tailored approaches.
• Facilitate joint planning with parents and carers, offering guidance, workshops and resources.
• Raise awareness of neurodivergent and SEMH needs and deliver training.
• Contribute to multi-agency meetings and partnership working.
• Support transitions into school and TPAs where appropriate.
• Communicate with agencies and maintain confidentiality while coordinating services.
