Job summary

Reed is seeking an experienced Early Years Lecturer for a temporary contract in South East London. You will teach students from Level 1 to Level 3 and work with the Curriculum Manager to grow the department.

Qualifications

Early Years Lecturer

  • Job Type: Temporary
  • Location: South East London
  • Salary: £26.01 - £30 per hour (up to £35 per hour umbrella)
  • Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Lecturer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves teaching students from Level 1 to Level 3 and collaborating with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and inspiring the next generation of early years professionals.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Teach early years courses to students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 3.
  • Work closely with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the early years department.
  • Inspire students using your industry experience, supporting them to achieve their career and life ambitions.
  • Promote the early years courses, participate in marketing events, and share your professional experiences in the field.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience in early years.
  • Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage and articulate clearly to class groups.
  • Efficient administration skills for maintaining accurate student records.
