Job summary

London South East Colleges (LSEC) is seeking an experienced Early Years lecturer for a fixed-term maternity cover. You will teach students from Level 1 to Level 2 and work with the Curriculum Manager to develop the department, delivering high-quality education for every student.

Your industry experience will inspire learners from diverse backgrounds, while you promote courses across the Early Years curriculum through marketing events and outreach, sharing practical insights from your practice.

Qualifications

• Proven teaching experience in FE or industry.
• Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
• Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards.
• Excellent communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach students across Level 1–Level 2.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Manager on department expansion.
• Promote courses via marketing events and outreach.
• Share industry experience to inspire learners.
