Job summary

Maybury Montessori is seeking a dedicated candidate to undertake a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship, Room Leader role in Woking, with Shoots Training coordinating the programme.

The role requires a Level 3 Childcare qualification, prior Room Leader experience, First Aid, DBS clearance, and GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent. Hours are 36–40 per week during a 7:30am–6:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

Essential Level 3 Childcare qualification.
Previous Room Leader experience required.
First Aid certification required.
Clear DBS is essential.
GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English (A*-C/4-9).

Responsibilities

Lead, support and motivate the preschool team.
Deliver high-quality early years education and care.
Oversee planning, observations and children’s progress.
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements;

A Level 3Childcare qualification is essential
Previous Room Leader experience is essential
First Aid is essential
You must be able to gain a clear DBS
Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent
