Job summary

Blossom Tree Montessori is seeking an experienced Room Leader for our nurseries in Northwood Hills, Eastcote and Pinner. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week across shifts from 7.30am to 6.00pm, focusing on leading a passionate team and delivering high-quality Montessori-based care.

You will be responsible for creating a warm learning environment, supporting children’s development per EYFS, maintaining safeguarding standards, and fostering strong parent partnerships.

Qualifications

• A full Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience leading a room within an Early Years setting is required.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted and safeguarding regulations.
• Good ICT skills and confidence using digital systems.
• Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding care and education.
• Ensure the room runs smoothly while maintaining high standards daily.
• Create a warm, safe, stimulating Montessori learning environment.
• Observe, assess and plan to support children's development per EYFS.

Are you an experienced Room Leader looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you have a passion for inspiring young children and leading a dedicated team?

At Blossom Tree Montessori, we are looking for organised, caring and enthusiastic Room Leaders to join our warm and welcoming nurseries in Northwood Hills, Eastcote and Pinner.

We are looking for experienced leaders who are passionate about Early Years education and can inspire their team to provide exceptional care and learning experiences for children. Opportunities are available across a range of age groups, from babies through to our preschool rooms.

Our nurseries are easily accessible by public transport, with nearby bus stops and Metropolitan Line stations within walking distance.

This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week across a variety of shifts between 7.30am and 6.00pm.

Your Responsibilities

• * As a Room Leader, you will: Lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding care and education.


• * Ensure your room runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards every day.


• * Create a warm, safe and stimulating learning environment that reflects the Montessori ethos.


• * Support children\'s learning and development through high quality observations, assessments and planning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.


• * Ensure children are happy, settled and making excellent progress.


• * Build strong partnerships with parents and maintain excellent communication.


• * Keep up to date with EYFS, Ofsted and safeguarding requirements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.


• * Lead by example, supporting, mentoring and motivating your team.


• * Delegate responsibilities effectively while encouraging teamwork and professional development.


• * Encourage creativity within the room and involve your team in planning, activities and continuous improvement.


• * Use the Blossom Educational app to complete observations and communicate with families. Full training will be provided.

What We Are Looking For

• * A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum.


• * Previous experience leading a room within an Early Years setting.


• * Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Ofsted requirements and safeguarding legislation.


• * Good ICT skills and confidence using digital systems.


• * Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.


• * A positive, supportive approach with the ability to motivate and develop others.


• * A genuine passion for Early Years education and providing exceptional experiences for children.


• * The ability to work collaboratively within a friendly and supportive team.
