Job summary

Little Pioneers in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Cook in preparing and serving healthy meals for children, while keeping a clean, tidy kitchen and complying with Food Standards Agency guidelines.

You will help families make healthy choices, work within the society's policies, and benefit from flexible working options including a 4-day week; DBS check costs covered; Level 2 Food Hygiene required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check, costs covered
• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent

Responsibilities

• As Kitchen Assistant you’ll support the Cook in the preparation and serving of healthy and nutritionally balanced meals.
• You will ensure a clean and tidy work environment and support the team to enable families to make healthy food choices.
• Working alongside the society’s policies and procedures, you will ensure compliance with the Food Standards Agency and work to the highest possible standards.
