Little Pioneers is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help deliver nutritious, balanced meals for families. You will support the Cook, keep the kitchen clean, and assist children and families in making healthy food choices.

We value an Enhanced DBS, Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification, and a warm, open, and compassionate approach to working with children in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required and costs covered by us.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent.
• Open, honest and compassionate demeanor.
• Inspiring and passionate about early years and working with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with preparation and serving of healthy, balanced meals.
• Maintain a clean, tidy kitchen and work environment.
• Support families in making healthy food choices and adhere to policies.
• Comply with Food Standards Agency regulations and internal procedures.
