Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford is hiring an Early Years Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe nursery environment for children and families. This part-time role (15 hours per week, Monday–Friday) requires cleaning duties, daily laundry, and occasional support during mealtimes and with equipment cleaning.

The role emphasizes hygiene, COSHH compliance, and clear communication with team members, children, and parents. A DBS check is part of safer recruitment.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in domestic or commercial settings.
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety requirements.
• Excellent communication with colleagues, children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, staff and families.
• Maintain high hygiene standards in bathrooms and nappies areas.
• Carry out daily laundry as required and assist with additional nursery tasks.
• Support mealtimes and cleaning of equipment as needed.
