Job summary

Bright Horizons Dandelions Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper to keep the nursery clean and safe for children, staff and families. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness, particularly in the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas, and assist with daily laundry.

This part-time role (20 hours per week, Mon–Fri) requires experience in cleaning, knowledge of Food Safety L2 or above, COSHH and Health and Safety, and strong communication with colleagues,

Qualifications

• Great communication skills with colleagues, children and parents.
• Food Safety Level 2 or above (or equivalent) – pass on day 1 in post.
• Good understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
