Job summary

Bright Horizons Springfield Lodge Dartford is hiring a flexible Nursery Practitioner to join the Bright Flex / Bank team. You will support delivery of the EYFS through engaging activities and help children reach developmental milestones.

The role requires a Full Level 3+ Early Years qualification, prior nursery experience, and a passion for making learning fun. DBS checks and safety procedures apply, with benefits including childcare discounts and pension.

Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!
• Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones.
• You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

Qualifications and experience

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
