Job summary

Kido Blackwater Nursery & Preschool in the Camberley area invites applications for an Early Years Educator. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers a supportive environment where you’ll be an ambassador for our values and help children learn through play.

You will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, support safeguarding, plan activities, observe progress, and build trusted relationships with families. Salary £27,500–£30,000 per year, with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 required.
• Level 2 English qualifications acceptable if Level 3 obtained after 2014.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing environment for children.
• Be a consistent key person for assigned children.
• Observe and plan learning and development steps.
• Use varied teaching strategies to meet different learning styles.
• Create enabling environments that spark curiosity and exploration.
• Support SEND needs in collaboration with families and professionals.
• Safeguard children and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Carry out daily health and safety checks and risk assessments.
