Job summary

Kido is recruiting a Nursery Room Leader for Blackwater - Hawley Green, Blackwater, GU17 9BS. The role is full time (40 hours per week) with a salary range of £28,000 to £33,000 per year at our UK nursery and preschool.

You will lead a dedicated team, develop an ambitious early years curriculum, and ensure safeguarding and high teaching standards. We offer strong progression opportunities, 20 days leave rising to 30, birthday off, 100% free childcare (subject to terms), refer-a-friend bonus,

Qualifications

Relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 minimum)
Experience in management in Early Years
Maths and English Level 2 if Level 3 obtained after 2014

Responsibilities

Lead your team with day-to-day activities and communicate with staff and parents
Inspire outstanding teaching and learning every day
Conduct performance reviews with clear SMART goals and developmental feedback
Ensure safeguarding and welfare of all children is prioritised
Develop an ambitious curriculum and embed key person and buddy key person approaches
