Job summary

Kido is seeking an Early Years Apprentice at its Blackwater nursery in Hawley Green, near Camberley. The role offers Level 2 or Level 3 apprenticeship tracks with full-time hours (40 per week) and a clear path from apprentice to qualified professional.

Qualifications

• Level 3 course takes approximately 2 years to complete and offers progression to Level 2 sign off.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and must have UK residency for the past 3 years or more.
• Maths and English GCSE desirable; if not, Level 2 Maths and English Functional Skills tests will be provided; current equivalent of Level 1 Maths and English required for initial acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your apprenticeship journey by actively engaging in training, seeking feedback and applying new skills.
• Create a warm, safe and engaging environment where children feel happy, supported and inspired to learn.
• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities aligned with EYFS and Kido curriculum.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and act as a nurturing key person in daily life.
• Work closely with parents and carers, sharing progress and achievements.
• Help create stimulating learning environments that encourage curiosity and exploration.
• Support children of all abilities, including those with SEN, ensuring inclusivity.
• Develop skills through mentoring, training and hands-on experience.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional childcare and nursery events.
