Job summary

Storal is seeking an Early Years Lunch Cover for Hemsley House Nursery School in Maidstone. You will help keep children safe, loved and inspired to learn, supporting daily routines, meals and transitions while applying the Storal curriculum.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 EYFS qualification, enjoy teamwork, and communicate well with staff and families. This part-time position offers shifts 10:30 to 2:30pm and a rate up to £13.30 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years.
• Strong communication with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy to daily activities.

Job description

Nursery: Hemsley House Nursery School, 7 Terrace Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME16 8JS

Hours: Part Time, 20 hours per week, 10:30 to 2:30pm - School hours available

Salary: up to £13.30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

As an Early Years Lunch Cover you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

About you:

• A true love for child development and care
• Able and willing to work in a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Must haves:

• Early Years qualification at Level 3
• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
