Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd. Leicester is inviting applications for the Nursery Practitioner role at Children 1st Leicester Nursery School by Storal. This setting values a nurturing, inclusive environment where children develop through play-based learning.

You will plan activities, observe progress, and support personal care for children while applying the Storal curriculum daily. The role offers full-time or part-time hours (3–5 days per week, up to 40 hours or 24 hours) with a competitive hourly rate

Qualifications

• Must hold an Early Years qualification at Level 2/3 or higher.
• Experience with all age groups in Early Years settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, observe progress and support personal care for children.
• Deliver the Storal curriculum and pedagogy in daily routines such as meals and transitions.

How you’ll spend your time here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
