Job summary

Great Starts Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for multiple Level 3 Nursery Practitioners / Senior Nursery Practitioners to join a well‑established Early Years nursery in South Woodford and Woodford Green.

This full-time, permanent role offers 36 hours over 4 days or 45 hours over 5 days, with shifts from 8am to 6pm. Salary to £33,400 per year plus a £2,000 bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential.
• Minimum 1 year nursery or Early Years experience.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS.
• Support children's development against Early Learning Goals.
• Act as a Key Person, completing observations and assessments.
• Monitor progress and support individual learning needs.
• Support children with SEN, EAL and additional needs.
• Build strong parent partnerships and communicate effectively.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding Early Years practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner looking to progress within a supportive, well-established nursery group.

Key Information

• Full-time, permanent role

Role Overview

As a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Educator, you will deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will support children's learning, development and well-being while ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.

• Must live locally or be able to travel to Woodford/South Woodford
