Job summary

Happy Days Nurseries is seeking an experienced Early Years Deputy Manager to lead our Charlton Heights Nursery team in Patchway, North Bristol. You’ll drive high standards of care and education, while inspiring staff and building strong family relationships.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years/Childcare
  • Proven leadership experience in an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organisational, communication and people management skills
  • Proactive, approachable leadership style with passion for high-quality care

Responsibilities

  • Support the Early Years Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS standards
  • Help to lead, motivate, and develop the team of practitioners to deliver outstanding childcare
  • Support the Early Years Manager to manage budgets, staffing and resources effectively
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and the local community
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children

Early Years Deputy Manager
Up to £34,216 per annum with an onboarding bonus of £1,500 and with value of additional benefits after one years’ service: £6,622 Full-time, 40 hours a week

About the role:

As Early Years Deputy Manager, you will:
