UCM Education is recruiting an Early Years Assistant for an EYFS setting. The role focuses on children aged 1-2 years, with a four-day week (Mon-Thu) and 8:00–16:00 hours, term-time only. Permanent position with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and high-quality care.

You will work with colleagues to deliver nurturing, development-focused activities and build strong relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Experience or genuine interest in Early Years, especially ages 1-2.
• Level 3 qualifications are considered.
• Patient, nurturing and reliable with strong communication.

Responsabilités

• Support care, learning and development of 1-2 year olds.
• Create a warm, safe and nurturing environment.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities per EYFS.
• Encourage early communication, independence and social development.
• Support children’s routines and needs throughout the day.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Observe and monitor children's progress.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.
